About
Spray work is where a bodyshop proves what it is. Our four climate-controlled booths hold temperature and airflow to schedule, dust is managed rather than hoped away, and refinish problems are caught at the spray-out stage, when they cost a morning rather than a fortnight. That is what a 'spray paint bodyshop near Harrow' should mean in practice — not a place with one booth squeezed between MOT bays.
Colour is engineered, not talented: mixed to the manufacturer code, then checked as a sprayed specimen against your actual panel — age, fade and previous refinishes all move real colour away from the code's ideal, and only a specimen-check catches by how much. Small cars, single panels and blends are everyday work; a three-stage pearl or a full bare-metal respray on a restoration is simply a longer version of the same discipline, priced at quotation.
The other thing a spray bodyshop owns is the choice of what to respray. Plenty of 'I want it all done' conversations end as three panels plus a machine polish, at a fraction of the full job and with almost nothing lost visually — we will show you both options with prices rather than selling up to the big one.
All refinishing follows insurer and manufacturer-approved methods, carries a lifetime paint warranty, and is applied in temperature-controlled booths — the conditions premium and insurance work are specified against. Workshop quality runs under ISO 9001 processes with ISO 27001 covering customer records.
Our process
The paint schedule is the same discipline whether the job is a mirror cover or a bare-metal shell.
01
Colour is mixed to the factory code, but the first spray-out is a test card compared against your car under daylight and booth light — adjustments are made there, on a card, not on your wing.
02
The repair area is keyed, panel-wiped and masked — edges feathered as the damage dictates, and adjacent panels bagged so overspray has nowhere to land.
03
Primer is applied and flatted dead flat; colour goes down in passes to the sprayed specimen's reference; lacquer follows within its window and cures to the booth's temperature schedule.
04
Once cured, the surface is de-nibbed and polished to gloss — a repair should leave looking like paint, not like a repair parked next to the car's own finish.
